Project Director – MAT Enhancement

Summary of Position Function

Responsible for day-to-day management of project implementation and operation, development of policies, procedures and operating practices, coordination with Partners and Evaluation Team of the Partnership to Address Opioid Epidemic and Save Lives in Western New York  Through Medication Assisted Treatment Project.

Education Requirements

Master’s degree (in the following preferred areas): social work, mental health counseling, psychology, rehabilitation counseling or psychiatric nursing.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATE: (preferred)

LCSW, LMHC, RN

Experience

5+ years working with the population affected by SUD; 2+ years directing complex projects; Expertise in cultures/languages of target communities & community resources.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and demonstration of agency core values in day-to-day activities
  • Provides effective supervision utilizing agency standards, protocols, policy, and procedures and evidenced based practices
  • Provides effective leadership ensuring the Enhanced MAP Program meets its set milestones
  • Provides supervision to the Enhanced MAP Program staff
  • Meets documentation timeliness standards and supervisees meet same expectation
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively use technology and appropriate use of support
  • Follows Agency policies and procedures
  • Completes yearly update trainings
  • Coordinates services with other staff and other agencies.
  • Implements established plan and provides assigned professional interventions.
  • Serves as resource person/consultant to other service providers in identifying clients for referral and works cooperatively with other providers to assure linkage of clients with appropriate services.
  • Prepares reports, maintains clinical files, participates in training, and provides statistical materials.
  • Assures that advocacy, linking, expediting and related activities are carried out as needed.
  • Oversight of quality of services and documentation for supervisees.
  • Conduct presentations on the Enhanced MAPS Program as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
