PROS Clinician


Summary of Position Function

The PROS Clinician provides Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services including assessment and treatment in individual and group format.  The clinician carries a caseload of clients and is responsible for facilitating rehabilitation groups covering a variety of topics from vocational preparedness to trauma to daily living skills.  The prospective candidate needs to be proficient documentation to meet all OMH policy and billing regulations.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccine required.  Consistent with state and federal law, requests for reasonable accommodations will be considered  

Education Requirements

Meets standard of “Professional staff” as identified in OMH PROS Regulations or post-masters with supervisory plan in place to reach “professional staff” credentialing within profession


Experience in working with values of rehabilitation and recovery setting

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clinical caseload of more in-depth CBT needs of PROS population
  • Training in CBT, trauma treatment, individual and group treatment modalities
  • Completion of all assigned EBP modules for PROS
  • Proven ability in promoting intensive goal acquisition and skills/clinical abilities needed to address mental health barriers to identified recovery goals
  • Proven ability to identify need for and  provide intensive services to prevent relapse
  • EMR proficient
