Training Overview

This training provides foundational information regarding adolescence. This specific stage of life and its various developmental factors will be explored. Participants will become familiar with common diagnoses that occur within this stage as well as techniques and skills that can be utilized in a therapeutic environment. This is an interactive training that provides an opportunity to understand the adolescent population as well as tools that can be utilized to engage them therapeutically.


Educational Goals

Participants will be able to identify:

  • 1-2 developmental factors that affect adolescents and their functioning.
  • 1-2 diagnoses that are common during adolescence.
  • 1-2 interventions that can be utilized to therapeutically engage adolescents.
